US Economic History, 2nd Edition (2021). Published through KDP

This book takes you on a journey through the history of the United States of America. On this journey we will put on the glasses of an economist. As you view history through economic lenses, you will see new meanings to old events. Like how the Boston Tea Party was not about taxation but rather to protect the black market for tea. You will see how Hamilton and Jefferson argued over the importance of a national bank and how their argument continues today with the Federal Reserve. You will learn about the Great Depression and how fiscal and monetary policy were used during the Great Recession and how they are being used to deal with the economic crisis caused by COVID-19. By the end of this book, you view of history will be clearer and you will have a better understanding of issues that the nation faces today and in the future.
